Miss Moore received the opportunity to speak to the youth in Far Rockaway in conjunction with DYCD funded program, Learn and Earn. The workshop primarily consists of High School juniors and seniors eager to learn about Miss Moore's career pathway and advice to students who want to do the same. Check out the review from the program coordinator, Kimberly Isaac. "On February 2, 2021 Miss Moore was our official guest for the Black Professionals Career Exploration workshop.
The students were very excited to speak with a professional performer, actress, educator, and creator. Many of our students wanted to know the realities of being a professional performer and Miss Moore really broke it down. She explained the importance of preparation, hard work and learning from your mistakes to become a better brand. The group had fun and enjoyed her stories about trials and triumph throughout her career. There were so many thoughtful questions and Miss Moore gave them honest advice that can be used for any career our students plan to pursue. The staff was so glad to have her enrich the space with such a bright personality and encourage our participants. Letting them know that their future is bright, and anything is possible." Thank you!
